Did Christ Go Through Regular Male Puberty? This Question Reveals Which Christ You Worship

Do you affirm the scandal of the incarnation and believe in a truly human Jesus or do you believe in a semi docetic, 99% human, false Christ?  The below question helps reveal this.

Did Jesus go through male puberty, have testosterone course through His body and experience regular human sexual desires just as we do, resulting in sexual temptation just as we experience, yet never yielded to this temptation and never sinned?

Understand this, there are 2 Christs preached yet only one is real.  One gives an impossible example to aspire to, promises forgiveness and some help but practically results in a life of sin management. This Christ, became mostly like us in his life to make us mostly like Him in this life - real freedom is only offered in the next life. However the true biblical Christ, offers brotherly solidarity and freedom from sin through His Spirit in this very life. He became exactly what we are in this life, to make us exactly what He is by His Spirit in this present age.  He conquered from within our weak mortal condition and renewed man into His image, breathing His Spirit into us. He created a new type of mankind after the second Adam - Jesus the head, we His body. Not through subtraction or modification of our human nature but through addition of His Spirit to us. Our human nature was never the problem, our lack of the Spirit was.

Like water running through the desert producing life in a sea of death, His Spirit is poured out on men bringing forth sons of God and their deeds follow them. For where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom and whom the Son sets free is free indeed.  This is why He is not ashamed to call them brothers, for the one who is consecrated and those being set apart are from the same source.

Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God, and seeing God they are transformed into His likeness from one degree of glory to the next, being image bearers and children of the Most High. Impure hearts can't look on the blameless Christ as brother.  Despisers of human nature can't see Christ fully entering it - who call human nature sinful or corrupted. Yet what God made was good and remains good to this day, though human nature is weak. Adams sin brought separation from God but not corruption of human nature. This separation in turn brought death to mankind. The sons of Adam are born estranged from God, and being separated brought forth more sin, which compounded the separation and multiplied the darkness.   But praise be to Jesus Christ who came to reconcile us to the Father, being sent to us by the Father and by taking on our very human nature and redeemed us. Being now reconciled to the Father through the Son we can abide in Him and His love, having put away our enmity with God which is unrighteousness. 

No one who abides in Christ keeps on sinning, No one who keeps on sinning has either seen Him or known Him.  Abiding in love is evidence of being born of God.  Those who hate are still in darkness. Those who live in sin abide in death. Love is life, light and righteousness - all who walk this path abide in God and He in them.  This is the narrow path Christ walked and bids us to forsake all and come follow Him.

Romans 8:3-4 ESV
3 For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, 4 in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

A Jesus shielded from full human experience is not fully human and a false Christ (Semi-docetisim).  Jesus, the Son of Man, was not shielded from the greatest and most devastating temptation in history - sexual desire. He endured natural human desires, including the full force of male puberty, testosterone and sexual temptation,  yet overcame through the Spirit.  This is the Son of Man, our brother who forged the blameless path of love and righteousness through the power of the Spirit for the children of God to follow in.  He is the way, the truth and the life.

Hebrews 2:17-18 ESV
17 Therefore he had to be made like his brothers in every respect, so that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in the service of God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. 18 For because he himself has suffered when tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.

Hebrews 4:15-16 ESV
15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

We don't have a king commanding the front lines of battle from afar, we have a king who leads the charge into the fray fighting side by side with us in our very condition - against sin, which He overcame. His humanity is our humanity, His Spirit is our Spirit, His victory is our victory, His life our life, His end our end.

Daniel 7:13-14 ESV
13 “I saw in the night visions, and behold, with the clouds of heaven there came one like a son of man, and he came to the Ancient of Days and was presented before him. 14  And to him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him; his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one that shall not be destroyed.

Perceive this Son of Man with clarity our Brother, God and King, the heir of all creation.  His blood is the eye salve that will make you see clearly. He became one of us, actually. He sweated, had body odour, urinated, defecated, had morning breath, hungered, grew tired and slept, went through puberty, had testosterone, felt the pull of the bodies natural God given sexual desires, bled and died. Yet despite coming in our exact weak nature and enduring all of our temptations in their full force, He never yielded and committed sin.  This blameless Son of Man will judge and rule the nations.  

Revelation 3:18-22 ESV
18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see. 19 Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. 21 The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne. 22 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’”

Semi-docetisim has spread everywhere and is the subtle poison that is killing the global church - excusing bad fruit and fertilizing bad trees.  It is a slow working but devastating toxin that lays waste to the souls bitten by it. But the church must see Jesus for who He is, truly one of us. God will purge and heal the church by His Spirit through the consubstantial Christ, the Son of Man. Only when the Son of Man is lifted up will the church look upon the serpent in the wilderness and be healed like in the days of Moses.

John 3:10-15 ESV
10 Jesus answered him, “Are you the teacher of Israel and yet you do not understand these things? 11 Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know, and bear witness to what we have seen, but you do not receive our testimony. 12 If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how can you believe if I tell you heavenly things? 13 No one has ascended into heaven except he who descended from heaven, the Son of Man. 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in him may have eternal life.

Do you worship the exalted golden calf forged by the speculations of theologians and smelted in the systems and traditions of men or do you gaze upon the lowly bronze serpent, ignoble and base? The golden 99% human Christ who experienced 99% of what we experience but was shielded from the toughest 1%, or the bronze 100% human Christ who calls us brother?

One glitters, made just how we like him, above us not beside us - who covers sin but cannot save from sins power who was exempt from mans fiercest battles. The other scandalizes, coming in the form of a servant in our humble and low human estate but who not only forgives but frees us from sins power and dominion by His Spirit having experienced the identical pull and conquering through the same Holy Spirit we have in us.

Some will cry blasphemy!  As did the Pharisees to Christ. Are you offended that Jesus actually became a real man?

Isaiah 8:14-15 ESV

14 And he will become a sanctuary and a stone of offense and a rock of stumbling to both houses of Israel, a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem. 15 And many shall stumble on it. They shall fall and be broken; they shall be snared and taken.”

Matthew 11:6 ESV
6 And blessed is the one who is not offended by me.”

The real blasphemy is denying the Son of Man actually became exactly what we are, identical to us in humanity without exception, qualification or asterisk - yet despite walking in our exact humanity and condition, experiencing life just as we do, never yielded to temptation. The exact temptation that arises from the pull of natural human desires and emotions that we all share.  That is a denial of the incarnation.  That is the spirit of the antichrist that denies his advent in our nature, our flesh.

1 John 4:2-6 ESV
2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already. 4 Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 5 They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world, and the world listens to them. 6 We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

Jesus became exactly what we are and felt everything we feel, showing us it's possible to live righteously in this very flesh through the Spirit. Those who accepted Him as He revealed himself, to them He gave the right to become the sons of God.

John 1:11-13 ESV
11 He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. 12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

His sheep hear his voice and another they will not follow. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for Righteousness, for they are filled.  His Spirit and fruit poured out in us in power.  For this is eternal life to know and abide in the Father through the Son by the Spirit.  To abide in His love and Spirit you must see Jesus as He really is, and looking at Him you should see yourself in Him.  If you can't , you don't know the Son of Man, you have not yet seen Him with clarity and you won't be freed from sin until you do. 

John 9:35-41 ESV
35 Jesus heard that they had cast him out, and having found him he said, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?” 36 He answered, “And who is he, sir, that I may believe in him?” 37 Jesus said to him, “You have seen him, and it is he who is speaking to you.” 38 He said, “Lord, I believe,” and he worshiped him. 39 Jesus said, “For judgment I came into this world, that those who do not see may see, and those who see may become blind.” 40 Some of the Pharisees near him heard these things, and said to him, “Are we also blind?” 41 Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no guilt; but now that you say, ‘We see,’ your guilt remains.

Between 2 skyscrapers, a plank that spans 99% of the distance is as useful as a plank that spans 0% of the distance. Only a Christ who shares our identical humanity without exception spans the gap between God and man and heals people.  Anyone who hedges Christ's humanity by creating any exceptions rejects the biblical Son of Man, our brother and king. They might say he's "fully human" but will define his human experience as slightly different to our own - that is a 99% length plank with a "full length" sticker on it.  It will still fall...the sticker doesn't make the plank reach further. A 100% identically human Christ, a full length plank, is exactly the remedy the Father provided us by sending His Son in our exact nature - without exceptions or hedging.

John 6:32-34 ESV
32 Jesus then said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, it was not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” 34 They said to him, “Sir, give us this bread always.”35 Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.

Continually meditate on Christs identical humanity with yourself every day and you will abide in God, love and righteousness. For his humanity is genuine food and drink to meditate on and gives hope, life and power to those who hunger and thirst for righteousness - by His Spirit they are filled.

John 6:53-56 ESV
53 So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. 55 For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. 56 Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him.

This is eternal life, and why the kingdom of heaven is now, in you, by the Holy Spirit. Put away your idols and false views of Christ. Heed my words and look to the Son of man, that bronze serpent raised high for the healing of the nations and live!

John 3:19-21 ESV
19 And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. 20 For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. 21 But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.”

18 We know that everyone who has been born of God does not keep on sinning, but he who was born of God protects him, and the evil one does not touch him. 19 We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one. 20 And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ.
